Magisk Manager

Magisk Manager is the official application to manage root on Android devices. After unlocking the bootloader and flashing the appropriate file to root our device, Magisk Manager allows us to manage root permissions and grant them to applications that request it. For added security, we can activate biometric verification in Magisk Manager so that only superuser permission is granted through the use of fingerprint or face detection.

Magisk Manager also allows us to install additional modules related to root. For example, we can install the SafetyNet Fix, which helps us hide certain applications that our device is rooted, as well as that the bootloader is unlocked.

From the Magisk Manager settings we can also install Magisk with Zygisk, which allows developers to create more efficient modules by preloading the resources to be used in the system memory. We can also choose the applications to hide the root from, so that we can use them without problems or limitations. Among them, we find games and banking and payment applications, which limit functions if we have our device rooted.

The root offered by Magisk is “systemless”, that is, it does not modify the system partition and is less intrusive than other methods of the past. However, the functionality for the user is the same.
